Introduction:
Previously we conducted a scientific test, a hypothesis test to determine if a sampled value differed from the population value. In this chapter we test to see if two different population differ in terms of their means. For example, we might test to see if there is a difference in GPAs between males and females. Or we might test to see if there is a difference between males that belonged to a Greek organization versus those that did not.
